Be prepared for a lot of walking! Building R has a front and back door only, no side doors. It's about 120 steps from front to back. They told me to use the front, but the one and only cart was at the back! Well lit inside and out, and secure locks. The entrance door needs to be replaced. The office staff had to come show me the trick to pulling open the door, once someone finally gave me the correct door code!

I was greater and helped by Mary after making my reservation and signing my contract online. She was wonderful! So friendly and helpful. She showed me the added convenience of using the app to access my unit and make payments. My unit was clean and ready with a plastic ribbon on the door. I broke the ribbon to find my lock and insurance information inside. Move in was a breeze and I'm beyond satisfied with the entire experience.

Signed up online and got a good deal. Immediately got a call to finish setting up the unit. When I showed up the unit was ready and clean. Only negative is that there are only two dollys so I would advise bringing one if you can.

Rental went well but had to find a cart for move-in. Another customer said she's had to wait an hour before to get a cart. Front desk said there were 8 carts available but didn't know where they were. We drove the property and saw two other cars, neither of which were using a cart. Too many units for so few carts and where were those? Otherwise, all was fine, thanks.

Positive: Customer service is very friendly. The location is very clean inside and out. The elevator is large and spacious. To enter my unit I have to put in my security code 3 times. No one can get on a floor if they don't have the correct code. Several carts are located at the lobby entrance. The standard price of the rental was as advertised. The administrative fee is as advertised. Negatives: None of these are mentioned on the website before making the reservation. I was in a hurry and need somewhere near the house. So, shame on me for not researching more. *Not advertised. You have to purchase their lock. The old stainless steel bulky disc locks are no longer accepted. Although you can use them as a secondary lock. $20. This can be found after searching through the entire site. Not a service but an up sale. *Not advertised. You have to purchase their insurance. $15 a month. If you search hard enough on the website you can find the insurance requirement. But you are unable to determine the cost of the insurance without logging in which means you must create a profile. The insurance is more then I pay for my home rental insurance. This is what upsets me the most and the return on damaged or destroyed goods is extremely low. This isn't a service this is a profit center. Simple fix: When you click on a unit size. Not only does it show the admin fees but also a link to the lock and insurance requirements. Post all the cost be open and up front.

Mary was great in showing me the facility and explaining everything. I like the triple security entry code set up to the climate controlled facility and feel very comfortable early in the morning or later in the evening at the storage unit. Extremely clean and affordable.

This was my first time ever using a storage unit and I was very disappointed. I rented my unit on 11/29/2019 and was never told any information on prorated charges. I was specifically informed that my payment would cover everything until my move out date on 12/29/2019. I actually did not step foot on the property until 12/3/2019 and I get a call the same day that I owe more money. What no way. I talk to someone about the situation and I was bluntly told " its on the agreement that you signed" first of all, I didn't read that agreement, I was too gullible and trusted the employee that helped me, that was a mistake on my part. I am very disappointed. I moved my stuff out the very next day and I still had to pay more money which is ridiculous because I only had my things in a storage unit for 3 days and end up paying $70. What a ripoff. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM HERE AGAIN. The employees need more training and its not fair to the customers that we do not get told the correct information by employees.

Very efficient and friendly staff. The facility seems safe and secure. I've had to deal with self storage farther into Houston, and those experiences were ordeals. None of that here. But in this age of computers being everywhere--in your kids shoes--why so much paperwork? My valuable junk is safe and I can sleep soundly tonight.

Reservations (5 Stars) - Received call within 15 minutes of making on-line reservations to schedule time to complete rental paperwork and take possession of the unit. Cleanliness (5 Stars) - Unit was clean and ready to move into. Security (5 Stars) - Gate operation and security code works as expected. No problems entering facility. Cameras are located to view property. Assume all are in working condition. Staff (5 Stars) - Friendly and professional staff. Completed necessary paperwork and shown unit in approx. 10 minutes.
